Q: Is a deposit required to make a reservation?
A: Yes. A credit card deposit is required that is equal to the first night of your stay except for the May race weekends when we require a $150 deposit. You will be asked for this deposit at the time you make the reservation.
Q: What's your cancellation policy?
A: If you are unable to honor your reservation, call and cancel prior to these deadlines: RV/Tent: 72 Hours - Notify KOA by 4 p.m. two days prior to arrival date. Kabin: 7 Days - Notify KOA one week prior to arrival date. Reservations made after deadlines will require a non-refundable deposit.
Q: Is there a charge for canceling a reservation?
A: Yes. A $10 cancellation
fee is charged for cancellations made prior to deadline. Cancellations
after deadline
will result in forfeiture of all deposit. This is KOA's national
policy. Cancellations for May Race Week must be made and verified
before May 1st or $150 Deposit is nonrefundable.

Q: What are your hours?
A: The KOA is open from 6am to midnight Mon through Sat, and 7am to 11pm on Sundays.
Q: What if I am arriving after midnight, how do I check in?
A: If you will be arriving
after we are closed you must call the front desk at 803-548-1148
ahead of time and they will leave a
campground map with your site on the front door for you. You
may then check in in the morning.
Q: What's check out time?
A: Check out time is at noon every day.
Q: What if I need to check out later?
A: On RV and Tent Sites
you can go to the front desk and request a late check-out and
remain on the site until 6pm. The cost of this is half the price
of the site price. This policy is based on availability and if
someone is due in on the site and there are no
others available we may not have the leeway to allow you a late
check-out. Please let us know at the time of check-in if you
will be checking out late so as to allow us ample time to make
any adjustments. We also may ask you to move to another site
in the event of a late check-out because of prior reservations.
For Kabins there is no late check-out, but if the kabin is available
you may renew it for the entire night and pay full price to have
the option to leave when you wish.
Q: What's check-in time?
A: Check in time is 3pm. You may be able to check in earlier IF the site or Kabin is available when you arrive.
Q: Do I get any discounts at your location?
A: Camper's are entitled to a 20% discount at the Blimpie when presenting their camping receipt at the Blimpie counter.
Q: How do I get to Paramount's Carowinds.
A: Carowinds is very close and any of our clerks can give you easy directions.
Q: Can I get Paramount's Carowinds tickets from the campground?
A: Yes. You may purchase discount tickets at our front desk. They are considerably discounted from the price charged at the ticket booth at the park.
Q: When's the Campground Massacre?
A: The Campground Massacre runs every weekend in October, plus the entire last week of October every year. Camper's are eligible for a $4 discount on entry.
